The reason for this web site
A long time ago I read a story about an academic project that set up a number of computers
running a program that randomized a number between 0 and 1.
Over a long period of time it was expected that the number of 0's and 1's would be about the same
however after a number of years of running the data stored was analysed and they found that
periodically there were unexplainable spikes of many more 0's or 1's than there should be..
As I remember the story it was said these spikes were significant to world events. Not sure I
believe this but this, just for fun, web site is my attempt to find out if the story has any credence.
Would the results be affected by the number of people that vist this web site, I doubt but who
knows.
